Learning How to Receive Love

The birdsong greets me as I write to you this morning!

Did you know that both science and Buddhism have come to the same conclusion regarding what makes us really happy? It will come as no surprise to most of us, that the answer is LOVE.

Awakening to our inner divine nature and expressing the best of ourselves leads to deep fulfillment, creative solutions, vision, inspiration, meaning, purpose and contentment.

Learning how to receive love and coping in life without pushing love away and seeing how our life situations have contributed to our evolving wisdom, can also lead to a deeper sense of happiness and inner contentment.

So it truly is all about LOVE. The happiest people learn how to nurture life and are involved in caring for someone or something beyond ourselves.

And yet, how many of us in reading this will remember that we have a smaller self that constantly needs OUR love, OUR nurturing, and requires receiving from the best of ourselves?

This precious potential within is asking us to give ourselves, not only all of the conditions that support recovery, but emergence and FULL expansion into our original divine blueprint?

The power practice of being a “divine” presence of Love and of sending our own heart light energy to all of the parts of ourselves FIRST before we serve others is essential to serving the world from an own overflowing abundance.

This power practice not only helps us heal, but unleashes an ongoing river of energy to accomplish our purpose on the planet.

Stress, burnout and depletion are not an option. Neither is playing it small and backing away from blossoming in all areas of our lives.

Let’s all commit, as we are unlearning patterns of unhealthy self-sacrifice and devote ourselves to love, honor and cherish ourselves. Let’s say a radical YES to valuing our own well-being with a fierce determination.

Often, women share with me that despite intellectually knowing that they are valuable and worthy, there are often feelings of guilt or feelings of being overly responsible and so worried about others, that care for one’s own well-being gets put on the back burner. Sometimes this is conscious and often it is an unconscious pattern that is important to become aware of.

It’s time to STOP these patterns. Charity begins at home. It begins with us returning and giving to our sacred selves. And nurturing that divine seed within us no matter what!

May each of us continue to release any resistance in receiving and giving to ourselves and may we all continue to make this an ongoing devotion in every moment of our lives. Then and only then, can we go out and serve others from our empowered and radiant hearts!

Have an abundantly blessed day. 💝
